Visual Identity
Pinechip Capital is an independent investment manager based in Hamburg. Its services are developed for the upper 10,000. Back in 2016, before the blockchain thing blew up crazily, my team and I had no clue about investment firms or risk management. But what we knew was that finance markets were and are very complex systems. And the target group, aka the very rich kids, like sophisticated things.
I'm far from understanding the money business ultimately, but I'm still in love with this brand design. Using organic and inorganic structures and surfaces and very basic typography (indeed, it's Arial since in 2016 we had no Google Fonts and the client was too cheap to buy a more individual typeface, no joke!) sum up to a classy and elegant overall visual identity.
